No, I don't think praying for a husband is wrong. I prayed for mine, with a list of specific things he had to have in his character. LOL. I got him in God's perfect timing. I do know that in the meantime that singles need to put God first, and have him as your husband. Not get so obsessed with finding Mr/Mrs Right that the aren't ready for him/her when they find eachother. Start preparing yourself now, to be the wife you want to be. The christian God sees you as. Then everything will fall into place.

OH! and don't to forget to pray FOR him! As his future wife you can pray for his safety, for his walk with the Lord, for his decisions. So he too is ready in God's timing. I am trying to teach my boys that too, so they don't fall for "miss right now".
May the joy and peace of God be yours in Jesus!

You can pray for it, but it won't happen until the time is right. Most people find love when they least expect it. Just be yourself, don't try so hard, and let God do His work. Too many people pray for something, then when it doesn't happen right away, they lose faith, and become bitter against God. He knows your plan, and He will make it happen whenever it's meant to be.

It is perfectly okay to pray to God for a partner to share your life with. Just remember to base your relationship on your faith.

You may pray for anything you want, as long as you are willing to accept who God sends. I think God may expect us to get out there and be where someone can find us and not just sitting like a wallflower waiting...the one who is sent may not see you.

If God sends me a husband, I'm going to have to respectfully decline.
