Call the vet whenever you are in doubt. Doesn't sound right. Call them NOW and ask.

How old is your cat?

How long have his legs been funny? If it's not just a five minute thing, i.e. if it's been for some hours or all day, call the vet. If he is allowed outside, he could have injured himself. Alternatively he may have had a stroke if his movements are strange. Diabetes can also cause weakness in the back legs.

I'd suggest you call the vet. I hope he is ok.

How old is the cat? Cats are adept at hiding pain - if they had 'growing pains' they wouldn't show it. Cats can hide far greater problems than this!

This doesn't sound good, it could be arthritis, or any kind of back leg/spine/hip problem, either congenital or cause by trauma. Time for a vet checkup!

Take your cat to the vet, this could be distemper, or another very serious condition. If you have other cats, they could catch it.
