Whoops sorry i meant decendants, like children ect. Why is it so important that he was celabate?

Did you know that Jesus did not have any wife? And did you know that He did not have any children by any woman? He was celibate. Why? Because He had a mission in this world. And that is to save mankind from sins. Did you know that Mary Magdalene even tempted Jesus? But Jesus was not tempted and explained to Mary Magdalene what His purpose in this life was which Mary understood.

Some people are trying to do everything possible to find fault with the record of Jesus in the scriptures. They think if they can find error it will relieve their responsibility to live Godly. Basically they are looking for a license to be perverted, unclean, and lawless.

In the christian belief Jesus is the son of God who become realy a human being. So he needs to have all the aspects of human life.

i think you mean descendants....... and i think people make a big deal of it b/c they want to see someone who is directly related to Christ. I'm sure if we were to find direct descendants they would be become instant celebrities... or would have tests conducted on them and have their lives examined to see if they do anything extraordinary.
