Is it possible to dye hair in a checker board pattern? Say...orange and green?

The reason I want to do this Is because I havent seen a lot of people with this type of hair color/style its all that emo junk I think this would be somewhat original

YES!! We did it to my hair during Cosmotology school. This was back in the 80's - so what we did is take the clippers and form the lines of the checkerboard. Then very carefully clip the saran wrap to protect every other square, then bleach out the other sqaures. Mine was a dark maroon and white. We let it go from tight checkerboard on one side to just lines on the other - kind of like that artist - of course I can't remember his name right now...good luck! Have fun with it! It grows back!

Yes, but it would be very laborious. Plus, you'd have to have short hair... like, a 1/4 inch or less.

of course!!! almost everything is possible!!! it will be very difficult, but i think a professional would be able to do it...this link shows some interesting designs...i didn`t see checkerboard, but it`s possible if u search the web enough, u can find it...

It is possible, but it would take hours. You can maybe go one half orange and one half green. But if I were you, I'd do neither.

Yup, just make sure to have it professionally done. If it's done incorrectly it will run and it won't look the way you want it to.

yes put the colors into two diffrent water squters and spray them where you want them and in what order

ya, but it's extremely hard, cause when you wash it out it goes everywhere.
