God could have given you animal instincts to make you subservient to his will, but decided to give you free will and an ability to think instead. But what good would that freedom be without options? Often the tragedy and evil in the world brings out the best in good people--I don't know if that was God's reason for allowing it, but it is clear that God's plan has more to do with making his followers the best they can be than it does with justice or punishment.
The flood wasn't fixing a mistake, it was more like pruning a rosebush. You have a tiny part of the plant that is growing perfectly, while other parts are growing in the wrong direction. So you cut off the bad parts so the good parts keep growing right.
I think a lot of your anger with God is that you don't think he is acting in your interests. He isn't exactly. He is acting in his interests, and inviting you to join him and warning you to stay out of his way. What you choose to do is up to you--he made you that way.

So by giving us the freedom to do wrong in spite of the concequences, we are paying for HIS mistakes? Would you prefer to have been created without the choice to refuse him? And if you are given this freedom, then you want God to fix it so that it doesn't hurt anyone? It's like the father who tells his child right and wrong, but then never expects him to abide by the rules. No, he goes around and fixes all the mistakes so the son or no one around him/her suffers any concequences of that disobedience. It jsut don't work that way.

Satan was originally an angel and God brought the murderous flood so that He could destroy all the wicked people. Can't the potter destroy his creations if he's not satisfied with them? Remember, God is the potter and we are the clay.

He also took the blame at the Cross.
God took full responsibilty for what happened in Eden by himself becoming a man and as a man dying to subdue the human flesh which is evil.
No one will point their finger in God's face and say he didn't do anything. He died so we could live.
We need to recieve this and follow it closely.
It is a matter of life and death.

I believe that the reason we came to this earth is to be tested, and to learn. How do you learn something if someone just does it for you. I mean if he hadn't put that tree there, Adam and Eve would still just be chilling in the garden of Eden, and none of us would be here.

no, God doesnt make mistakes. we do. we all fall into temptation, we just have to make the right choices when that happens.
God promises good things to us if we follow Him, and promises demise if we don't. It is all up to us to follow and be blessed.
Why do people keep blaming God for their own mistakes and bad choices?

Maybe you should read it again. Although, with an explanation like that, it doesn't sound like you've read any of the bible at all. Ignorance is bliss isn't it?
