I have looked everywhere to see what could possibly be causing this. Mainly, I lay in bed and feel awful or wake up and feel awful. I moved into a different house in August, and now I have had this EXACT same sickness about 7 times since November. It always starts with nausea and I tend not to feel better until I have had severe stomach pain followed by diarrhea. I had it once against 3 weeks ago, and now last night. NO clue what is going on. Please help!

I am a 23 year old female and I have previously had a colonoscopy that came out fine. I have been diagnosed with IBS, but I have never had problems like this. I don't think GI cancer is very likely given me age and my previous test results.

Pancreatitis, IBS, various forms of GI cancer, ileus, and many other conditions can cause pain and/or nausea. A diagnosis can NOT be made online; please see a physician to determine the cause of your symptoms.

Try some Gatorade and if that doesn't work within an hour, you may need to drive him to the ER to get a fluid IV. Once people have lost a certain amount of electrolytes from diarrhea and vomiting, the intestines can no longer absorb fluids. If a person reaches this point, the only way to get fluids is through an IV.
