i would cover the tattoo up to prevent fading or put some suntan lotion on it. they fade very easily in tanning beds.

Yeah, a tanning bed is the worst thing you can do to a tattoo, let alone right after you get it done. Hold off.

awwww try to stay away from the sun and tanning beds sweety. they ruin tattoos! At least 30 days. use spf 45 or cover your tat.

atleast 2 week b4 goin on sun bed but even after the 2 week use a high spf sun cream on the tattoo or it will become raised and fade!

i went to the tanning bed the same day my tattoo was done, but i covered it with a towel...

You need to put a high SPF sunblock on it. Actually, you're supposed to do this everday to protect it from fading. UV rays penetrate clothing, too.

I don't. =\ However, mine is solid black, not color.
