Whatever part of the world, headache is a very common complain that affects almost every population. There different kinds of headaches and different causes. The pain itself is not on the brain as the brain ha no pain receptor but the surrounding structures of the brain.Several areas of the head can hurt, including a network of nerves which extends over the scalp and certain nerves in the face, mouth, and throat. The meninges and the blood vessels do have pain perception. Headache often results from traction to or irritation of the meninges and blood vessels. The muscles of the head may similarly be sensitive to pain.
Of course they are real and if you got a pretty intense headache it is really disabling- you cannot do anything and you will not know what to do.You are very lucky indeed not to experience headache. It is very possible to have a maintained balance of not having headache. Headache means something is wrong and there is nothing wrong to cause you headache so keep that up.

Watch out, I never had one either until I was 19. By age 24 I was having 2 or 3 a month. Never could understand why pain relievers came in such large quantities. I Thought 100 tablets would be a lifetime supply. They are not imaginary. Mild ones are just a distraction but a bad one can be very disabling

Beats me on most of this except that headaches are common enough for there to be an industry of pain-relievers designed to get rid of them.
I believe you concerning never having had a headache, though. When I was younger I used to get headaches quite often. One day in class when I was experiencing an especially bad one I did a little meditation, imagining a sphere of energy surrounding the pain. Then I slowly moved the ball out of my skull to a few feet in front of me and let it dissipate. I never had another headache for years afterward, and when I eventually did get one it was quite small and brief.

Headache is very common, so that makes you a rare person if you haven't experienced headache yet. Even if you have no disease you may have a headache. Like for example when you are stressed out, when there is sudden change in temperature, even if you drink something that is too cold and simple sickness like flu also gives you headache.

Hey! Im 21 and due in July too. I dont recognize why your midwife is telling you to put in writing a delivery plan. Especially so quickly. Although I have in no way had a baby earlier than I have watched plenty of delivery indicates. I am obsessive about the exhibit One Born Every Minute on Lifetime. You can watch that exhibit and get a believe for all of the exceptional soreness medicinal drugs and spot how hard work results every person another way. Just since it was once terrible on your mother, doesn't suggest it's going to be for you too. Just since you are saying that you just desire to have fuel and air now in your delivery plan doesn't suggest that you just need to whilst you're truthfully giving delivery. Even when you say that you just desire a traditional delivery you'll difference your brain for the period of supply and ask for an epidural. Or visa versa. So dont believe careworn into selecting one now and sticking to it. Most ladies difference their minds on supply day. Most ladies who I recognize who have got epidurals have stated that they couldnt believe some thing no longer even the urge to push. So whilst it comes time for me to push my child out, feel me Im getting an epidural.

Your ignorance is flooding the internet. Why don't you ask someone who is experiencing a headache if it is real or imaginary, then maybe you will know what something called a concussion feels like. Perhaps the reason you don't experience headaches is because there is nothing in your skull to hurt. The arteries and veins are cutoff from your brain so that it's only functions are eating , breathing, going to the toilet(maybe) and asking ridiculous questions.

I think practically everyone gets a headache every now and then. I don't get many compared to my wife. I get one maybe every 60 days or so. She gets on about once a week.
They are not imaginary. They're real. It can be disabling in extreme forms like migraines. I think almost all people get them periodically.
Its nice for you that you don't though.

it is normal that you have never had a headache. A headache can be caused by hundreds of different things, like allergies, colds, tooth aches, sinus pressure. It is when the blood vessels in your brain get inflamed from stress.
