That's kind of pedophile-ish, don't you think? Why would a "man" want to be with a little girl?

Dating is perfectly legal. Now depending on the state you live in... determines what else you can do legaly. I met my ex-girlfriend when she was 17 and I was 29. In all honesty, we had and still do have a lot in common and a lot to talk about too. But where I live, (New Hampshire) 16 is consenting age. Now keep in mind, we still waited until she was 18 before we did anything other than date... but yeah, to answer your question... dating is perfectly legal. I would check what the legal age of consent is in your state before going any further though.

Yes - you are above the legal age for a sexual relationship and although you're not an adult until you're 18 and as such you have to ask parental permission to leave home, there is nothing stopping you seeing a guy 10 years older than you.
However, there is something not quite right in all this because you have to question the guy's intentions - at 27 he should really be seeing someone at least 5 years older than you, regardless of how mature you may think you are and how much you think he "loves" you! Is he just after the one thing all guys want? Has he left behind him a string of girls of similar age and naivety?
If I was your father, I'd be worried about this relationship and would want answers to all my questions before I gave you permission to see him again.
Maybe you should just think seriously about it too?

Yes and pretty common.
And no it does not mean the guy is a perve into one thing.
No 27 year olds dating 17 year olds are NOT only into one thing any more then 17 year old guys are.
In fact given what your typical American Pie movie is like
17 year old guys are horney as hell and despirate to loose virgintiy and scare as many girls as they can as very immature.
Mr 27 hear would probably be safer and more sensible to be around and lots of fun, yes he will want to make out and get hands in panties but so would any guy who likes you and usually you want to be the same with him if in love.
Its more common many of his pmates and girl mates all paired of and married or all suity and proper and boring.
So wants new mates and girlfriend who is fun and does not think its immature to make out in public.
Plus very likely was shy earlier and way behaind everyone his age and missed out and struggled to catch up so his matureity equivalent is far far younger.
Ie you have had 10 dates so has he, and you have been with 5 guys and he may be similar.
Whilst those his age have been with hundreds and beeing in long term rellatioships etc so he has nothing in common with those his age.
thats the usual stuff.
What it boils down to is do you wto like each other and fancy each other and want to be together?
the main prob I see is you are at pre uni age so may end up in a different city and he may be more stable with a possible mortage.
Or you may want to go backpacking and he may not be able to.
or could be hes been waiting for someone to go with.
Usually 27 and 17 year olds will be into the same stuff ie clubbing, parties, cinema, snogging, kissing etc.
so really dont see the problem

yes its legal but you have to ask yourself what does a 27 year old man want with a 17 year old child because in the eyes of others you are seen as a child until you are 18.
Its a bit odd that a man of nearly 30 would want to date a 17 year old.

in canada yes in u.s. no but in all reality a normal 27 year old male should have nothing in common with a 17 year old female beleive it or not but at 17 your not going to make the wisest decisions but allways try to keep in mind for the future ( Would my future husband or wife respect me if I act this way?) think hard if a 27 year old is interested in a 17 year old he probably has some serious problems
Be SAFE & Smart and allways think of the future

Yes, it's legal. They just can't have sex until the female is 18. A 10 year age difference is not that much and it is not creepy or wrong. It is all bout being on the same mental plane.

Male and Female....Brrrrr sounds like you are talking about animals.
For a man 27 the only risk he encounters is if where it happens the17 years old girl is considered minor or not !!
For the girl the only risk she encounters is ruining her life before having had a "normal" relationship.

Depends upon your state. In Texas, yes. The age of consent here is 17. Some states have it at 18.

Where I come from, you are an adult at the age of 18 however, the legal age of consent is 16 (messed up, I know). So yeah, it's legal.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/MFiNQ
Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.
The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.
Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.
