Islam because I'm grateful for finally finding peace in my life that I never had before and also because I relate to the pain my brothers and sisters are going through and whenever I see the suffering my brothers and sisters are going through in Darfur, Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Lebanon I feel like I'm being targeted as well by the Jews and the Western dominance. I'm grateful for my husband because he is also Muslim and because he treats me like a queen and is so understanding. I am also grateful for ALLAH for showing me the lies of what the Western and Jewish media say about Islam and for bringing me to Islam.

I am grateful for a loving husband who supports me no matter what. I am also grateful for my three beautiful, quirky and sometimes frustrating children. Without them, I would be a selfish, angry shell of myself. They ground me and make me remember every day that life isn't about me, but what I give to others. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who allows me to learn and grow on a daily basis and who doesn't control my life, but allows me the freedom to fall down, get back up and keep trying.

I'm grateful that forgiving is freedom. That forgiving is love's ultimate power to be healed as well as healing others. Nobody can make you forgive someone else or yourself. Only a free person can heal the memory of hurt and hate.
Only a free person can choose to live with an uneven score.
Only free people can choose to start over with someone who has hurt them.
Only a free person can live with accounts unsettled.
When you forgive another person you are surprised at your own freedom to do what you did. And when you forgive yourself or someone else you move on to greater freedom. Freedom is strength; you know you have it when you have the power to forgive.
The Lord's Love is the power behind forgiveness.

I am grateful for many things in my life. I am not in fellowship with God and Jesus right now but I still know that Jesus loves me. He gives my husband health each day to go to work so we can pay the bills and put food on the table.
