Tell your name and how you are a long time close friend of the groom. Then tell about how happy you are to be the emcee at this wedding because you were supposed to be the emcee at his first wedding. You were all prepared, had rented your tux and had great material to use as an emcee and he got jilted at the altar. Did you ever stand listening to the wedding march played over and over about 20 times? I was going to volunteer to marry him myself rather than listen to it again.................Since everything was all arranged we went ahead and had the blowout reception as planned. Did I mention how the runaway bride came back to party cause we had gone ahead and had the reception? Anyway after a few drinks I almost performed the ceremony for them but after almost marrying him myself, I couldn't stand to marry him to someone else.
