Is it "half of that" or "half of those"?

The existence of potential gas resources in our region is still promising. Malaysia for example, has at present 187 Tscf reserves, *half of that* is proven. Beside of that hypothetically there are about 385 Tscf reserve to be confirmed by exploration.

"half of which". "Apart from that" to replace "beside of that".
