Can I dare hope that some "remorseless preadator" might digest some wisdom?
Ahh, well, if I am meat to you, chomp away.
Don't blame me if you wind up with a serious case of heart burn.

What do you mean by wretched lives? Christians don't look at life as being wretched. It is a gift from God. It is an opportunity to help others reach the kingdom of God. I don't feel that I am prey.

Yes! Believers in secular humanism are living their lives as a food source for the remorseless predators in the advertising world who deceive people into thinking that this life is the only life that people will have and so they should spend all of their money acquiring more material objects and engaging in momentary pleasures because after all "you only go around once in life".

That's why it is important for Christians to let people know what Jesus taught before ascending back up to Heaven in front of many witnesses.

Luke 12:16 And Jesus told them a parable, saying, "The land of a rich man produced plentifully, 17 and he thought to himself, 'What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?' 18 And he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.' 20 But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?' 21 So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God."
