If the dentist has found nothing wrong with her mouth then there could be a problem with her digestive system. Try the GP instead of your dentist

She may have something called tonsil stones-little collections of yuck that get trapped around the tonsils. If she gets sore throats every so often and coughs up little white chunks of stuff-then she has them. The best way to deal with them is have the tonsils removed. Otherwise you just battle them in an ongoing cycle. Plus, it is common to get them as a result of chronic inflamation of the tonsils. It would get worse in the day because the sinuses drain as we are upright and moving-lay down to sleep and it pools.

Is she constipated? It is a common problem amongst children now and would explain her breath. She may also benefit from taking some probiotic supplements as a bowel bacterial imbalance could also cause bad breath.

It might be gingivitis? Try taking her to the doc's or the dentist they may be able to diagnose if anything, or give her something for it. I know some mouth washes are good for that but best get medical advise first.

What is she eating?
Tuna for example can give you bad breath!
Does she ever bring up food back into her mouth?? Get her tonsils looked at by a dr, sometimes sore throat can give you bad breath, get dr to do a swab!

check to make sure she is flausing. and if she is,make sure you are ensuring a dental rinse. Bad breath is sometimes a very sure sign of trapped food. Been there, done that.
I couldnt for a long time figure out why my breath had a "spoiled" scent to it. i flossed, and i rinsed, and i finally washed out a "small" piece" of meat that was stuck between my teeth. after this, I paid more attention to what was in my teeth,
Hope this helps, and hope it isnt nething worse......Best of health to you all-----------------------Scott

Is she drinking enough? Dehydration can cause it. She should be having about 3-4pts of fluid each day. All fluids except fizzy stuff like Coke is fine

she needs to:
brush 3 times a day
floss once a day
drink lots of water throughout the day (dry mouth can cause bad breath)
See if she is getting recurrant sinus or throat infections.
reduce the amount of sugar in her diet, as it 'feeds' the bacteria in the mouth
