As a Republican & a Christian, I support the war and President Bush....always have.
But do you think that we will ever fully wipe out extreme terrorists even with Saddam gone?
And what if we catch & kill that other nut-case, Bin Laden? Will it really stop anti-Americans from attempting to penetrate our nation?

As long as we are free....people who are not will hate us.

Your thoughts......

I think that God is the only One who can change the inhabitants of this world enough to eradicate terrorism. The Bible gives us several glimpses of how He will accomplish this:

1) The Ezekiel 38/39 invasion: In the not-too-distant future, Russia, Iran and other middle eastern nations known for actively supporting and engaging in terrorism will invade Israel. Eze. 39:4 tells us that Gog (the Russian leader) and ALL the invading troops will be killed by God during this invasion (please note, the KJV contains a mistranslation at verse 4 which is NOT supported by the Hebrew text). Russia will be destroyed as a super power. This will break the back of radical Islam, leaving millions of peaceful Muslims in a quandry: the Quran promises Muslims that Islam will "prevail over all religions" (At-Tawbah 9.33). In the face of an undeniably fulfilled Biblical prophecy telling Muslims that they are NOT favored by God, they will question their religious beliefs. This leads us to step two.

2) The Bible promises that millions of Muslims will be converted to belief in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For example, Isaiah 19:1-17 describes Egypt's punishment due to their mistreatment of the Jews; however, verses 18-24 promise they will one day worship the One, true God of the Universe. This can only happen if this traditionally Muslim country repents as a result of its punishment and turns from Islam. Another Biblical example of this process may be found at Isaiah 19:23-25 (concerning Egypt, Northern Iraq and Eastern Syria).

3) Some Middle Eastern nations will be destroyed, either temporarily or permanently.

a) Jordan (Edom, Moab, and Ammon): See Ezekiel 35:6-9 and 25:12-14, Jeremiah 49:7-13 and 19-20, and Obadiah 5-9 and 17-21.

b) Saudi Arabia (Keder and Hazor): See Jeremiah 49:33 and 49:28-33.

c) Persia, a.k.a. Iran (Elam): Jeremiah 49:34-39 tells us Persia will be destroyed. However, the destruction of Iran will be partial and the dispersion will be temporary. Eventually, the inhabitants will return and resettle Iran. The future of Iran is similar to that of Egypt, but the length of time they will be in dispersion is not revealed. There will be a Nation of Elam in the Messianic Kingdom.

d) Southern Iraq (Babylon): Isaiah 13:20-22 and Jeremiah 50:39-40 recount Babylon's total destruction. Revelation 19:3 says that it will also be a place of continual burning and smoke through the Millennial Kingdom. The animal inhabitants mentioned in Isaiah 13:20-22 and Jeremiah 51:39-40 cannot live in a place of continual burning. Therefore, they cannot be literal animals as we know them. What they actually are is explained by Revelation 18:1-2: "After these things I saw another angel coming down out of heaven, having great authority; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried with a mighty voice, saying, Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and is become a habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hateful bird." Thus, Southern Iraq will become a place of confinement for demons.

4) Lebanon will be an occupied territory, according to Ezekiel 47:13 - 48:29, which tells us the borders of Israel during the Messianic Kingdom. Because Lebanon will become a part of Israel, its inhabitants will therefore be believers in the One true God.

Extreme terrorists will not be wiped out until Bush is wiped out. After all, Bush is an extreme terrorist. He is the reason hundreds and thousands of iraqis are being killed every day - because of his persuit for leadership of the world. But ofcourse it is labelled as "saving and freeing a country", the "terrorist" word can only be used to label muslims as that is apparently what they all are according to the media...and the narrow minded people who have no clue whats really going on and agrees with what they see on tv and read in the papers. Iraq was better off under Saddam....atleast less people were killed with him than what have been killed since America decided to take over Iraq (to wipe out weapons of mass destruction - which havent been found, and to take out saddam - which they did and could have done without destroying and blowing up half the country). And as for bin laden?? Well do you see good ol bush doing anything to find him? NO. Bin Laden was just another excuse to persue a war......Now america is in control of the oil and other valuable resources in the middle east they dont give a stuff about anyone or anything else. Thats my thought.

I believe that as long as people mind their own business and do not poke their noses into other's affairs, thinking that they are World Police, this World will be a better place to live in.
Your supporting the war and Bush just shows me how Naive you are. You look at history yourself and see if you can find anywhere, where the Muslims are the perpetrators against the US. You will not find at all. If only the US minds its own business and focus on improving the lives of the lesser fortunate in its own country, instead of poking its nose in unwanted affairs and wasting money and other resources, the people of the US will be living in peace without fear. Thats the Truth, whether you accept it or not. Thats the Logical Truth.

Satan is the ruler of the World and is the cause of the violence that is put in men’s hearts.

Luk 4:5-7 So he brought him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the inhabited earth in an instant of time; and the Devil said to him: “I will give you all this authority and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and to whomever I wish I give it. You, therefore, if you do an act of worship before me, it will all be yours.”

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

This will continue until Satan is removed and Jesus kingdom is established.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

I agree it is more about good and evil that many people realize. I think it's impossible to wipe out the extreme terrorists before the Lord returns just because there will always be some who disagree with because we don't believe the way they do. We can do our best but the ultimate decision will be the Lord's as to what happens to them...If we don't catch Ben Laden, one day he will still have to answer to the Lord for all he's done.
I have friends fighting in Iraq and pray for God to keep them safe and when they are home I thank them for what they have done for my freedom.

I agree that people Will always hate America for it's freedom. Right now Bush is trying to get there new government running like it is suppose to be. And make them enforce the new laws on the terrorists. But this country has been a state of chaos for so long, that the new change is going to take a long time to take effect.

I think the 'War on Terror' is about as winnable as the 'War on Drugs'. There is always going to be an uncontrollable, hidden element to both.

As far as Bin Laden, he's much more valuable to Bush uncaptured than captured. Without OBL, Bush has zero platform.

My thoughts:

1. Saddam had nothing to do with the extreme terrorists you mention, in fact without Saddam they have increased in numbers in Iraq from negligible to multitudinous. Thanks to the Bush policy of failure.

2. The quest for Bin Laden was abandoned by that other nut-case GWB when he chose to go to war in Iraq, which had nothing whatsoever to do with Al Qaeda.

it is a shame that you call yourself free.

it is your country's foreign policy that is putting all the american lives at risk. the hatred will strengthen if you do not stop meddling with other nations internal issues.

currently the extremists are weakened, but only in strength, not in spirit. if china were to become a super power in the next two years & invade the americas, say, for the next president not having a correct foreign policy, how would you react..................????? with disgust & voilence.

what you are seeing around the world is simple retaliation to you people touching the wrong nerves..................

the yanks will never get it.. trust me, not that i am against the american people, but dead against your country's foreign policy.

Well, as a Christian myself, I don't get involved in political affairs, just as Jesus himself did not get involved. He knew that man could not govern themselves then, and they still can't now.

Jesus stayed out of politics because he knew that in a future time, God would establish a heavenly government to rule over the earth. (Daniel 2:44; Luke 4:43)

So, they can try and try to make things better, but nothing is going to be solved until God's Kingdom comes.
