Its good that you asked, and good that you received a resounding no from your answers. Inbreeding is not good, it increases the probability that two copies of any given gene will be identical and derived from the same ancestor. This can lead to defects and serious health problems. You should not do it and furthermore, now that you know, you should warn others against it.
Breeding outside the professional breeder arena is a bad idea - leave it to the experts. Some pros inbreed, or line breed, but they know what they are doing - usually from a lot of study and experience. Most people dabble in backyard breeding for all the wrong reasons - money, 'fun', ignorance etc.
Owning a dog does not give you the right to breed it. Have a look at some info at:

Yes dogs, cats, cows & horses do what is called inline breedingif left alone. There has always been inline breeding. For example cattle --the 1st heifer can be bred to their own father if not kept in separate pastures. Ranchers even Ai registered cattle with the grandparent or same breeding on both animals. Granddaughter bred back--the simpliest reason is good genetics to create better show stock which will make the rancher more money for placing at shows. Then he can sale the other straws of semen to ranchers, FFA students and 4Hers who stockshow.
A rancher usually will not keep a bull more than 4 years or the inbreeding is too much and you can start having problems. I suggest you consider spade or nueter the ones you want to keep so you won't have problems down the road.

I hope you are asking will they mate if given the chance - yes almost all animals will take whats available if a better mate isn't. As for if its smart: do I have this right? The sister had puppies with her own father - a heavily inbred litter. and you want to know if you can breed the dams brother (a half brother AND maternal uncle) to the resulting pups. SIR, have you ever heard of inbreeding depression? You will heavily loose out on general vigor & health (possibly the two most important things a dog can have) and stand a huge possiblility of 'bring up' truly disabling ressesives. If you live in a puppy lemon law state the buyers can bring their vet bills to you for heritatary problems (humm.. $3,000 surgery x 10 pups - you could be bankrupt)

No Katie you can't mate them. You should never mate dogs that are related..Don't let it bother you what people say to you about this question. At least you ask before you did it. i will add this though these people that say leave breeding up to professionals. I hate to tell you all but these so called professionals will inbreed , line breed. But they said only professionals should do this. I just wanted to let you all know that. They do this to improve the line. If you read books on this you would already know such things happen. I being a plain ole breeder would never do that. Oh yeah that is right because I am not a professional breeder.

No. The closer they are related, the more health problems the pups will have. Why do you want to breed them? Get them fixed....there are way too many unwanted dogs in shelters as it is.
