Dog do not get cold like people do. They do get upper respiratory infections and they do get allergies.
The very thing to do is to have your vet see her to determine which she has and let them give you the correct medication to clear it up. Human medications can really harm your dog so never give your dogs anything unless your vet gives you the OK to do so.

I'm so glad you've only had sensible replies so far (apart from that one)

Dogs and cats do not really get 'colds' like we do. You can't just assume it's a simple infection, it could be anything. Also, even if it was just a cold, remember you can't cure viruses, even in humans!

Please take the dog to the vet to find out what is actually going on. It's dangerous to leave respiratory problems for too long - and it will only become more expensive if it develops.

I'm not saying there IS anything dire going on, but it's just not worth the risk, for the sake of a lousy consult fee at your vets.

You should take her to the Vet. My Mom had a Pug that got a "fox tail" lodged in his nose, and he kept sneezing and had a runny nose. He had to have the Vet sedate him and remove it, and then he was fine. Could be something along those lines, an allergy, or a million other things. Let the Vet check her, so she can get some relief (and YOU can too)

Call your vet! Don't give her anything. OTC meds can make them sick.
