We like potatoes (mashed, baked, or fried), corn on the cob, a simple salad, biscuits or cornbread. Another thing I like to do sometimes with fried chicken, tenders, or wings, is make a vegetable tray of carrot sticks, broccoli, radishes, cauliflower, (whatever y'all like!) with ranch and bleu cheese... It's a great way to get the family to eat good wholesome raw veggies, and volia! There's your dipping sauce for the wings as well!

I can only handle so much grease, so I'd go with some rice and a cold veggie plate with a Ranch or Bleu Cheese dip. You can make the rice plain/lightly-buttered, with hot sauce, as a Mexican rice, or anything along those lines. I think the textures of those help mix things up. If you have time/room to make anything else, you could do some tortilla chips and salsa.

We usually do the wings, oven-baked fries, raw veggies (carrots, celery, etc...) with dip (whatever kind your family likes, but bleu cheese is the classic with wings).
If we want a fuller meal we'll add coleslaw, or corn on the cob.
