You should consider remedial massage and acupuncture, they're not as invasive as surgery. But of course it depends on how serious your problem is. Acupuncture will alleviate the symptoms but won't cure it within a short period of time, you'll need a few sessions.You need to check with a doctor to see what the problem is, cos if you have problems with the tendons, then you might need some anti-inflammatory to ease the problem

Also, when you're better, you might want to consider doing yoga and stretching your shoulder. It'll be good in the long run.

Frozen Shoulder, first you need a x-ray to rule out Calcification. Then the Doc can prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs and exercise. If no improvement then steroid injections and exercise. You can include other treatments from acupuncture to TENs machine.
