I doubt there's something missing in her diet. It is very normal for a dog to eat manure of any type. We live on a ranch and my dogs regularly eat horse, cow and deer manure. Frankly they do a little litter box diving for "cat crunchies" too which I detest but it's a dog thing. I would however recommend that you get your dog wormed regularly as they can pick up parasites from manure.

All dogs will eat manure from any animal if given the chance. The ones I've rescued from breeders eat their own or any other dogs. So sad.
I agree you must keep them wormed regularly.

I've heard of dog's eating their own crap. I've been told it's to make up for a B12 deficiency.
I have no idea if the cow manure has to do with the same issue. Perhaps the dog is crazy.

It is perfectly normal for dogs to be poop eaters. It has absolutely nothing to do with a deficiency in their diet (unless of course they are eating a poor quality food, not getting enough to eat or are starving).

no matter what the breed or how pampered a pooch is ,
ALL dogs love to roll in or to eat smelly stuff , they just love it .
just make sure you worm your dog for tape worm , if dogs are around cattle they need to be done regularly for tape worm .

I'd get her tested for parasites by the vet. Mine find "rabbit raisins" irresistible.......
Perfectly well-feed dogs do this for no reason.

Yup...don't worry, it's completely natural...but try not to let your dog do it anyways, it's disgusting nonetheless.
