No, all fruit does not help you to gain weight. Strawberries in particular are very low in calories. Adding sugar or cream to the strawberries will contain high amounts of sugar and saturated fat, and too much of these will help you to gain weight. Just don`t add the sugar or cream.

Strawberries are low in calories and a good source of many vitamins and nutrients that a healthy body needs. Strawberries are high in iron and Vitamin C; they also have less than 60 calories per cup. Eight strawberries will provide 140 percent of the recommended daily intake of Vitamin C for kids. Strawberries are also a good source of folic acid, fiber, potassium, and cancer-fighting antioxidants.

good luck

Banana medium = 95 cals
cherries = 2 cals each
date = 30 cals each
Kiwi = 30 cals each
orange = 60 cals medium

Add 2TBSP "natural nut butter" (it contains healthy fats, and "natural" nut butter's don't contain added sugar's/ salt's/ etc ..) And also try no added sugar jam's, im pretty sure Smucker's brand offer's this (or they offer 25% less sugar) Try it on 100% wholewheat breads/ wrap/ pita/ english muffins/ crumpet's/ wholegrain waffles or bun- roll Also try adding a serving of fruit inside such as a sliced banana, sliced apple, 1/4 cup sprinkeled dried fruits like: raisins/ craisins inside or 3/4 cup sliced strawberry's. Consume with skimmed milk or 1% (1cup/ 250mL) or 1/2 cup lowfat greek yoghurt/ 1% cottage cheese. Hope i'v helped, best of luck! - Peanut butter add's protein, which keep's you fuller longer, completes you're meal and makes it balanced, and add's healthy fat's.

"fattening" is a silly word .. everything is fattening if you eat too much ... strawberries have sugar in them. Not much of it, but I know people who can eat 1kg of strawberries for desert. that is fattening.
