Haha, I am in an interracial marriage. In fact, I don't think race itself makes as much difference as the environment.
I live in a place where I've never been mistreated for being different. People here are practical. They can see that I'm different, but that fact doesn't seem to make them act superior or inferior. Lucky me! :-)
So I am married to a local, and I really see no difference.

Yes, many, many years ago, when it was less common.
He was a wonderful guy. He treated me fabulously. I don't think I've ever been treated with more respect. We talked about anything and everything. Honestly, the fact that we weren't the same race was absolutely irrelevant.
However, at the time, it was not at all acceptable. I knew my family would have issues with it, which worried me. What I didn't consider is that his family had issues with it. I realized, in a way, that made me a bigot. I had never considered his family may have qualms about their son possibly marrying a white woman. It definitely made me think.
We ended the relationship as friends. However, it was really sad that such stupidity came between us.

yes. I'm currently dating an African American and I'm a mix, but mostly Indian. It's definitely a challenge because we have different backgrounds and sometimes translate each other in the wrong dictionary, if you know what i mean...but all that aside, there's a lot of beauty in it, because we constantly learn more about our parts of the world the more we get to know each other. We have some commonalities---religion, a passion of leadership, and laughing...but in the end...no matter where two people come from, as long as they find some common ground and can BE THEMSELVES around each other, it's all good ;)

All but two of my relationships have been interracial. To be honest, it doesn't make a difference.
