what does that mean?

It may mean something or nothing since smear evaluation is non-specific for any diseas or condition. Just make sure tht there are no sickle cell present becuase that would be an entirely a different story. Presence of sickle clls indicate sickle cell disease or trait. Or maybe the anisoctosis you noted is due to bad smearing techniques or bad anti-coagulation technique or maybe the specimen was left to stand too long before the smear was prepared.

Slight Anisocytosis

Normochromic means they are coloured in the normal way.

Anisocytosis is a slight diffrence between the red blood cells' sizes.

So the smear shows red blood cells that look normal in terms of colour, but slightly irregular in terms of size, relative to each other.

it means that the rbc's appear to have the normal amount of hemoglobin in them (ruling out chronic anemia) and that there is a slight variation in the size of the rbc's. the slight anisocytosis isn't clinically significant. the patient may have been slightly anemic at some point, but has overcome it. sounds like a fairly normal smear.
