There is conspiracy theory which suggests that the Energiser Bunny was in fact assassinated by an underground ecological group who sent in a green goddess to seduce him into fatal battery overload. Concerned by the environmental impact of used batteries in landfill sites, the group decided to make an example of Pinkie, an icon of lithium energy use. A solar-powered rabbit is due to become his replacement. Any similar attempts to sexually overstimulate Sunny, the new bunny, would have to be made outdoors, a spokesman said.
