If you do have you been pleased and what do you think their best aspects are. Do you think there are enough lodges out there to offer the best hunting experiences.

In Illinois there are many outfitters for Deer Hunting. Prices and service vary quite a bit. Location is probably the most important part.

You can get on-line and type in" licensed deer hunt outfitters of Illinois". Sites will show how long they have been around and comments from past customers. You'll notice the first few years, most new outfitters don't get very high marks. Takes time to get a good thing going.

Prices can be from very reasonable, ( 3-5 hundred ) to very high, ( 3 thousand for weekend bow hunt) People are most definitely paying the high price, though.

For many people, this may be the only way they could hunt large game. Pheasant, I am sure, is on a day basis and probably a lot cheaper, may $25.-$50. for a good days hunt.

Yes, just need to maintain better equilibrium populations of wildlife.

Deers are a garden pest, pheasants are plentiful in areas without domestic Dogs....

Not me I guess...
I live on a 3,000 plus acre ranch in ND.
The deer, pronghorns, pheasants, grouse and partridge seem to call my place home...
That I am thankful for.
