Yes, it is. I really think she needs to see the vet, and very soon..Her sides should be lank after whelping..If you don't get her in to be checked, you are in danger of losing her, and have to raise her puppy by hand (requires feeding every 2 hours)

I'm no expert but usually when labor starts, the mother expells pups pretty close together. There may be several minutes or hr or so between some pups but a whole day I wouldn't think so.
BUT I'm thinking she could maybe have dead puppies still inside and if thats the case she needs to be seen ASAP by a vet.
I'm sure a breeder here will be much more helpful...and don't panic till one writes in, but thats my take on it.

It's definitely possible, but not advisable. That dog needs to get to a vet asap, seriously! She is in trouble, and could die, along with the puppies inside, and the one already born. Take her and the pup both to the vet right away.

Yes it is possible, but it isn't good.
You need to take the dog to the vet. For one thing you don't seem to know how many pups to expect (you didn't take her to the vet while she was pregnant??) so how will you know if they're all out or if one is stuck? This is life-threatening to your dog if it happens, so get her to a vet. It's very unusual for a dog to only have one pup, so she's bound to have more inside.

Yes it is possible, but you may have to take her to the vet. Something could be wrong. She might need help getting her babies out. I would be a worried... just a little note, when something worries you about your pet... a vet should be contacted.

Is she laying down a lot? Maybe she is still in labor, but my grandma had a dog who was still fat after her babies were born. She could have been over fed during her pregnancy?
