Of course, women love all that warm, fluffy sh*t in the movies. Large expressions, tiny little notes, flowers, open public displays of commitment. Hey! There you go. Watch some romantic comedy or some other crap.
But you know what. You'd only be immitating someone else's idea. In other words, you'd be faking it. Do you want to do that?
Be original. Make something up that has sentimental value of something that the two of you have shared.
Whatever. It's all another version of some theatrical production, anyway.

I think the best way to tell her is just at random... dont plan anything dont think about it too much. When the moment comes where you just know 100% that you love her just say it.

You can never go wrong with flowers. But if you live together - a good thing is to leave an "I love you note" where she can see it (mirror, by keys) before you leave the house...if at school at her locker...
