3AM is the Devil's Hour.
and anytime after curfew was un-Godly according to my parents.

I just watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose, and they mentioned 3:00 am. Something about demons using that time to mock Jesus who is believed to have risen at 3:00 pm. No clue if that is something catholics believe honestly or not, just what I saw in the movie.

According to my grandmother, between 8pm and 7am (local time,of course).

At least, that's what she'd always say whenever the phone rang between those times.

lol. It is anything that is out of your sleep - wake cycle. For me it would be 3:00am to 9:00am, but some might think that midnight is.
