That was what I thought all along. It sounded too much like an action movie, and I think it took a pair to admit it and to step down off the pedestal they put her on.

As soon as Jessica Lynch took an oath to serve and die for her country, if need be, she became a hero. That some of you can't understand that shows that you are cowards at heart.
I've read a few criticisms and "theories" about what happened to Pfc Lynch and all I can say is that if you've never been in battle then you don't know what you're talking about and you should shut the hell up.
Real veterans don't criticize or mock other vets for what they did or didn't do out in the field (barring treason, of course.)
If you get hurt, you get hurt, you don't go around later pointing fingers and saying someone shouldn't be in the military because of gender, race or political beliefs.
I guarantee you no one feels worse about Pat Tillman than the guys who shot him. We don't need to hear the thoughts of you clueless gutless weenies who TALK a big game but never suit up and play.

Whoa Nellie - she blasted the news media ..not the military . I always had respect for her . The drive-by media doesn't pick and choose for me . And each and every time I was a sitting duck for a "news' report in my car today , the next split second AFTER Jessica Lynch's words were finished - on came an exclusive life threatening weather bulletin about the media's favorite state ( ya , right ..) Texas..to quickly change the subject . "war supporters" - that's a crock . The bias liberal media support the war ? ( ya , right ) .

The woman was in a hospital and in no condition to move, or see anything. She had to identify herself to her rescuers. Now she thinks she's privy to all rescue operation proceedures and knows what when on behind the scenes? C'mon!
I used to be for her, but now I wonder.
Oh, and just because people are patriotic, and stand up for the war against terrorism doesn't make them fools. Perhaps you need to take a long look in the mirror if you'd like to observe a fool.

They used her to try to take heat away from the prisoner abuse that was going on..... It does take a lot of courage to do what she did.
