It is a common tactic by police during interviews to tell the suspect they have enough to charge because they think that the suspect may confess as a result, or may make statements to incriminate themselves. They may or may not have enough to charge you. Chances are if they did they would have done it that day, but it doesn't mean that they won't in the future. There isn't much you can do about it but wait.

The FBI has things to do. With foreigners with stolen machine guns and rifles in their houses, and Americans allowed to possess firearms, they hesitate to make social calls in the age of terrorism.

It is peculiar that innocence is not your confidence, but dread that they may find something, as in "I did it, but I thought I got away with it, but now I am worried that they found something, so wouldn't they arrest me if they did?" Even if the camera reveals nothing, and even if they cannot find the merchandise, if you are suspected, then they are waiting for you to trip up. This question certainly raises a red flag.

They will if you did it. They are just getting enough proof to put the person away for the longest time, and giving them time to do stupid things to make it even longer. Once they have sufficient proof to convict someone, sometimes they wait and watch to get even more evidence. Some are even unhappy when a criminal gets wise and confesses. Lessens the sentence.
If you're guilty of the crime, I say, wait, do everything you can to hide your crime. It will give them more evidence ultimately to put you away and with the state of the art of crime detection, you're doomed (YEA!)
If you're not guilty, then relax. They aren't after scapegoats. They get in BIG trouble if that can be shown. What officer in his right mind would want that! My father used to tell me such stories of the precautions they took in the C.I.A.!

If they have not arrested you yet, it is because either they don't have enough ( remember they can lie to you about what they have when they question you to try and get you to confess)
Or they are investigating more people involved and will get all of you latter.

I think it is safe to say that if they had enough to arrest you, you would not be posting this question. You seem to know a lot about the crime. Wonder if they are reading this ? What are those cars sitting out front ?

Soon, you will just disappear. . .
Seriously, if you did the crime, it sometimes takes time for the paperwork to inch through the federal system to a prosecutor who will put together the case and file for an arrest warrant.

What do big game hunters too ..
They set a trap and wait.
If a rabbit comes along and sets off the trap ..
Even though the rabbit is there, and clearly in the trap ...
They release the rabbit and wait for the fox that was chasing the rabbit ..
