Qur'an 5:37 "The [Christian] disbelievers will long to get out of the Fire, but never will they get out there from; and theirs will be an enduring torture."
Qur'an 8:12 "Your Lord (Allah) inspired the angels with the message: ‘I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes."
Qur'an 13:5 "Those who deny will wear collars and chains, yokes (of servitude) tying their hands to their necks; they will be the inmates of Hell.... They will witness Our (many) exemplary punishments! Verily, your Lord (Allah) is severe in retribution."
Qur'an 74:26 "Soon will I (Allah) fling them into the burning Hell Fire! And what will explain what Hell Fire is? It permits nothing to endure, and nothing does it spare! It darkens and changes the color of man, burning the skin! It shrivels and
scorches men."

Because he's Yahweh in disguise?
At least he's leaving the damn fig trees alone.

Prophet Mohammed was the "Prophet like unto Moses" so he was a Statesman, Military leader, Messenger, Law Giver and a family man.
Verses were sent down for every type of situtation just as the Old Testament included verses for war and prisoners etc for Moses.

The first ayat is not referring to Christians but to unbelievers in God...Christians believe in God. Not only to unbelief in God but active rebellion against God as well.
the second ayat is badly translated, it should say: When they Lord inspired the angels, (saying) I am with you.So make those that believe stand firm. i will throw fear into the hearts of those that disbelieve(no mention of terrorizing). Then smite the necks and smite each finger..
its referring to a war in which the muslims were greatly out numbered and God sent angels to fight alongside them.
the third ayat isnt even close in translation. it should say: And if thou wondered, then wonderous is their saying: when we are dust then will we be raised to a new creation? Such are they who disbelieve in their Lord; such have yolks on their necks; such are rightful owners of the fire, they will abide therein.
it refers to those that deny that they will be judged by God on the Last Day for all that they are doing wrong on earth. That they should take heed or the fire will be their final destination.
the fourth ayat isnt quite right either. it should say: Him shall I fling into the fire. Ah. what will convey unto thee what that fire is. It leaveth not nor spareth not. It shrivels the man.
its referring to mans pride and arrogance in believing there is no God and that he is in no need of God. His life plays out as he pleases without any interference from God.
I dont see any problem with it. if I spend my life trying to be a good person and believing in God...would I want to share heaven with someone who didnt believe in God, or actively rebelled against God or thought he didnt need God? I dont think so. beware the Fire!

Strange how you put [christians], because the last time I checked, disbelievers were barbaric pagans that used to torture people.
But in the Qur'an it was mentioned that CHRISTIANS, not (christians), were qualified for Heaven. Verse 2:62.

The Holy Bible is comprised of not only the old testament but the new one as well. In the old testament God is a vengeful God. In the new testament he is a forgiving God.
With that said, as far as I know The Qur'an has the vengeful God of the old testament.

frankly i don't know much about the Muslims but from what i saw from 60minutes on tv Sunday night if they can butcher there own then imagine what they will do to those nun Muslims, they are too obsessed with there religion i mean having there women dress appropriate sounds reasonable but having them turtored to wear that long clothing in the hot sun is ridiculous women from other religion have freedom of speech and other things and i know they will agree with me on this .every religion has some form of violence (not explained in such a raw form as above) ever since we were small our religion was Christianity if not us i am sure it has passed though your family.Muslim only began to get popular ever since September 11 before that no one really paid attention to them but they would blow up something every now and then just to get into the media but unfortunately it was as popular as they thought so they had to do something big ,after sept 11 they became popular which lead to alot of conversion into Muslims. which i think was part of there plan (my own opinion) but if those verses are really from the Koran then it means that there religion is based on savagery and that is something to worry about.

Honestly, Allah seems much like the Christian god with the throwing into the fire. He just seems more vocal about it.

it s sounds like satan, acting like God, knows his own judgement ahead of time! And then puts it on his human believers, (islam),as if it will happen to them.(for what he did against God).
How sad! The Thousand years of peace will equal the balance of things!
