I can't say I'm a fan of hers but when nationalism trumps patriotism, the country is really in trouble.

People often misinterpret the statement that "freedom isn't free."

Freedom isn't free, but the cost of freedom isn't "standing behind the president" or even "supporting the troops" (whatever that means).. the cost of freedom is being vigilant against the INTERNAL threats to freedom and standing up against a government that lies to convince the people to go to war. Habeus Corpus is out the window thanks to the Busheviks.

Intelligent and reasonable debate is what democracy is all about. Trying to get an alternative viewpoint off the air just because it doesn't jive with the official version of the events of 9/11 isn't what democracy is all about.

Whether Rosie or Mike Riviero (see source) are right about 9/11 or whether the official version is right just isn't the issue. Truth is not determined by petition or popular opinion.

It took me a while to watch the feed from the sight you listed. I am sure people aren't going to like this but I 99% of the time agree with her. I just feel so bad for Elizabeth, everything usually is directed at her. It wouldn't surprise me if Rosie got in an "accidental" car crash though. People don't like how gruff she is. She is not anti American, she is trying to get the public to open their eyes to what could be a very real possibility. So- No, I am not signing the petition. Besides what ever happened to the Freedom to Speak? Plus she is leaving in June anyway...so who really cares?

I'd love it if she'd shut up, I don't think she is doing anything good with her celebrity.

But.......
I have to support her right to say what she thinks. I would also support the right of any media that chooses not to carry her or what she says. (She is entitled to free speech, not a free platform), For now, my choice is to simply not listen.

I cannot sign any such petition.

So, somebody on TV is full of crap?

In other news, Joseph Ratzinger is Catholic.

Dude... Thanks for the link. I will sign. I know she got canned but I want her to know I was the reason for her dismissal. Serves her right for dumping me.....for a woman.

I understand not liking her, cause I don't either, but she has a right to voice her opinion just like anyone else. Most of the time I think she sounds like an idiot, but when she talks about Bush, I usually agree.

lol. I don't really care. Hollywood will be Hollywood. But I'm pretty sure this isn't a religious question. I sure hope it isn't.
