I had surgey at 29 s1-l5 disk fusion plus hip graft, and i am sorry i did it, the doctor i was seeing for my pain meds had done all the test he wanted which included lots of epidurals and disco grams which were just as painful. i never wanted to go on the morphine, why i lied because if i would of told the truth it would of been worse,I dont believe getting the police invlolved in family matters, getting help is one thing putting them in jail is another.Jail is not a sollution for something that happened one time and has been punished enough. I lost my trust with my doctor along time ago, i told him the truth all the time and it didnt do any good, so lied on how i felt (my pain)
said i was doing good and really i wasnt . i was in lots of pain, some people just cant live on motrin 800 that does just as much damage if you keep takin them. My doctor didnt even talk to me,maybe if he sat down with me i would of told him why i had the percocet in my system not some PA who just met me twice

If you refuse to be honest with your doctor, the doctor cannot help you. Period. If you felt the doctor wasn't listening, you should have taken your records to another pain clinic. You have no one to blame for this but yourself; as I mentioned in my other answer, the PA had to get your Avinza script from the doctor because she couldn't write it, so your doctor was aware of what was going on. You should have asked to speak to the doctor, and above all you should have been honest. As I said before, I am a great advocate of narcotic pain management; I'm a chronic pain patient myself (on Oxycontin and Oxy IR). You can't lie to your doctor and expect them to help you. Now you have to figure this out. You deserve a pain-free life, but you also must take responsibility for your action, be honest with your doctor, and fulfill your obligations as a patient (take your medications correctly, honestly report your pain level and level of relief, fill your prescriptions on time, report thefts to the police, not take medications that are not yours). Did you not have to sign a opiate treatment contract with your doctor when you started pain management? If so, you should re-read it, because you are clearly in violation of it.

sorry dude but I think you just lost the war on getting your pain killers back. You are making absolutely no sense what so ever in what you are writing.I mean I am tired but I have read this over and over and you keep saying better not to have cops involved.Well that says alot right there. And the way you are bouncing off the wall dude I think you still got plenty of Drugs in your system hmmm? I think Therapy is in order now.Not more drugs. I have had epidurals sir and yea they ain't a picnic but once they are done they are done. Get over the drugs you think you need and start recovery from them. then you will see once you can stand on your own two feet you will feel so much better! God Bless and I hope you seek more medical advice....perhaps a Psychologist would help?

doctors are so worried about their job that they just flick you off their charts like a booger on a pantleg. if he gave u more than u could handle, he would have to take the rap for not discerning wether u knew what u were doing. you should have cancelled ur piss test
the best thing to do...
is to apply for SSI or SSD (if you have no income) if your criminaal bckrnd doesnt come back to haunt you =]
i got mine in three month, but i lied like all hell on the paperwork, (i.e. cant do day to day functions, cant brush teeth...make a lifelong story)...then go apply for housing at your local branch (dont pick a bad area, that only gets people deeper in the system, and you know that), and find a ride to the methadone clinic around your area and start out at 20-30 mg of methadone per day and raise it 10 mgs a day till you cant feel yourself anymore.

worked for me

but im sure your situation is different
everyones story is different
