To David. . . It's supposed to provoke thought, especially amon gst christians who are sometimes all accepting of the face value of the creation story. Read the answer above you.f.fit's very interesting and was a fresh perspective to me. I am being tongue in cheek, and yes, sceptical of the story. Also I think it is sad when, for purposes of argument, you accept that we gave up paradise in return for the ability to make up our own minds, and then submit to religions's brand of mind control.

No...something we have learned or should have learned is that you cannot go back and change the past without effectively destroying the future. So the figurative apple is eaten and we leave the past alone.

The incident happened already during the past, it should not be taken back anymore. Days that have by gone are bygones. Think for the futre. no more problem of the past.

No, it was God's fault for being stupid enough to put the tree there. And the fact that he's trying to hide the knowledge of good & bad from me.

No because my parents always told me it's wrong to waste food and it's rude to put food back after your germs have been allover it.

Yes. I would put it back because it causes gas. I don't think my stomach could handle that today.

After it's plucked from the tree, you can't put it back.

No. I'd eat the core and seeds. If God wanted to keep us in ignorance and with no knowledge or right and wrong, he wouldn't be worthy of worship.
