many people say"atheists are CHOOSING to burn in hell"?

so if that's the case and there really is a God and he KNOWS that atheists are choosing to burn in hell,why does he LET them? ok i guess you people will say that atheists refuse to obey God..but if God really is almighty,can't he prove his existence? can't he do SOMEthing to make them believe?

if God really loves everyone why doesn't he do EVERYthing possible to save them from their (so called) doom?

e.g.if a child disobeys his mother and runs towards a fire,a mother will not stop by just TELLING him/her to stop.she'd do ALL she could...

i'm sorry don't mean to offend anyone..just want some answers on this..

And this also leads to...if we mere HUMANS were to see someone pour gasoline on themselves and get ready to light themselves on fire, the person would clearly be insane and we'd have a moral obligation to stop them from doing that to themselves. WHY, if god sits by while we immolate ourselves for etenity, is HIS behavior "moral" when in that same situation, ours wouldn't be?

He sacrificed His Only Son......what else do you want? What does He have to do to prove He exists? What human could make a star? Who can breathe life into a tiny embryo? Who could keep the planets and sun and moon in place? Who could design the human body with all it's intricacies to function like it does? We are dealing with is a paradox that none of us can resolve...there's an element of faith in God that must be applied...that God's Word is trustworthy in all it says.

Indeed, everyone who rejects Jesus as personal Savior & Lord does so of their own accord.

At the same time, the Bible teaches (see Gospel of John 6:44 & elsewhere) that no one can seek God unless God the Father first 'draws' or enables him/her to seek God. This is the doctrine of 'Sovereign Election', and it is found throughout the New Testament.

The more appropriate question to ask is, "Why does God even bother to save any of us at all?" Only when one comes to the place of understanding something about who God REALLY is...about His perfect Holiness for example, and only when we apprehend just how our sins are an infinite offense against this perfect God can we then begin to understand how amazing it is that God bothers to save anyone at all! God is no less loving or just when He exercises His sovereign prerogative to save some, while passing over others. We should seek to be found among the 'elect' by pursing God's grace & forgiveness.

No, I do not think atheists choose hell, but they do not choose salvation either which results in separation from God/Jesus. God sent His son to die for you, created the Universe, created you, gave you a manual to know how to live and who to follow (Bible), and so on. What more do you need? Men on earth at the time of Jesus had Jesus in person, performing miracles and some still didn't believe, so what makes you think it's any different now. It's not that He's not doing everything, it's that YOU are not recognizing Jesus and ALL HE IS DOING!!!!!

I'm going to answer your questions in reverse order.

He already has. God's nature is Holy. Holiness requires justice. This means that the sins of all people must be punished, otherwise He would be contradictory to His nature and not perfect. (not God) His Love is so strong that He became a human being to take the punishment for the sins that you and I commit.

The best illustration I have ever heard is a story about a Russian general who discovered that someone in his army was leaking classified information to the enemy. He set the punishment to whipping by the cat of nine tails and then death. After searching the camp, his intelligence found that his own mother was the culprit. Distressed the general disappeared for three days and reappeared. Knowing that his punishment had to be carried out, he embraced his mother and then tore his shirt. The general took the lashings and the punishment of death for his mother because of his love for her. This is the way that God does not contradict His loving and holy nature and become imperfect. (not God)

So we who accept His gift of love are not getting what we deserve, the people who ignore His sacrifice are getting the just treatment. Jesus said, "...whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Thus, when God is performing His Judgement, when reviewing the sins of those who accepted Him, while deciding punishments for their sins, as is the only just act, He will find that their punishments have already been suffered--suffered by The Lord Himself out of love. So it is not a lack of love for anybody, it is justice that puts those who reject God in the situation that they rightly deserve as much as those who accept God.

Atheists simply aren't intelligent enough to know what they believe. Everybody has an external idea of perfection not given by their own knowledge, otherwise they would BE perfect. (God) If an atheist can acknowledge the idea of perfection as external--as all humans must inevitably do since all humans are imperfect--then they acknowledge the notion of God.

Why is this world and the human beings on it not enough proof for some people?! What more do you want?! Freedom of choice is the trap that a lot of people fall into. God has already down so much to give us a chance to believe in him some people just don't want to and decided to go the way of Satan. It's not up to God, it's up to us.

#2 athiests dont believe in hell because we dont believe in a supernatural world, god, goddess, etc.

#3 athiests obey to freewill. meaning having a freemind to have strong opinion without the use of indoctrination or converted brainwashing.

#4 most athiest were former christians or someother religion...so i think we know enough about the religion to use #3 and decide what we believe is real.

God gives everyone a choice. You have the choice to either follow the path to God or the path away from God. God forces no one to follow Him, he leaves that choice all up to each and every person on earth. God does give repeated warnings. You can find these warnings in the bible. i think ur question is very valid. i could sit here and quote the bible to you but then that wont be "real" for you. God gives us free will. we get to choose. Trust me, this is no longer the day when God comes down and perfoms miracles, but what u need to understand is that he uses people to perform miracles. He is real. and he has proven himself to me over and over and over in my life. he just is real and i know that he is. i know i said i wasnt going to quote the bible, but just to make a point, it says that when you accept JEsus for who he is and he enters ur life and ur heart, there is a change that occurs in you, a renewal of ur mind, and that is where the faith comes in.......faith, meaning believing in the unseen. and also the way our parents discipline us cuz they love us is also the same way God disciplines those that love him. i think for him to be real for you, you have to give him the chance and just have an open heart, he just might suprise you. again thanks for giving me the chance to answer ur question and i hope i was able to explain a bit.
