Trust me on this because i definatly know what your talking about. Harish weather is the main cause (it being too hot or cold outside or weather changing back and forth) for dry lips. The best thing that works for me is Carmex!!!!! Not only does it help with dryness but if you have damaged lip skin (yes you can have damaged lip skin!!!!) then after leaving it on for 20 minutes you use a paper towel to rub it off your lips and you could see.......well......I'm gonna leave that for you to find out.

Hope THis Helps!!!!!!

it definetly needs some moisture. alwayz keep a good lip balm or chapstick with u & apply whenever ur lips feel dry & every night before sleep. DO NOT PEEL the skin on the lips yourself as it will further worsen d matter.

Your lips are peeling to to a lack of water. If you drink plenty of water everyday, then your lips may simply be dry. In the winter, when heaters are on, your skin and lips will dry out faster. If heaters are not the case for you, then you simply may be more apt to dehydration and you need to drink more water than most people.

This might be a result of external factors such as dry air, wind, sun... or internal factors such as diet (you might need to check with a dermatologist to find out what vitamin deficiency you have). You can try DCT (it comes in a little peach colored jar and is clear). It works very well and protects your lips from sun, wind, etc. Stress can also be a factor - if you lick or bite your lips when you are stressed, it can cause them to peel.

Dry lips need moisture which is not provided by lip balms. Moisture means WATER so drink plenty of water. If you apply a good lip balm after your lips are wet (from water not saliva) it will help contain the moisture.

They peel because they are dried out or maybe sunburned. Try using chapstick or blistex or another kind of lip balm often.

Using chapstick and lipbalm is a good start, also, Mary Kay makes a "Lip Mask"... you just rub it on your lips for a few seconds, then wipe it off and it removes all the dead skin leaving your lips SUPER SOFT!! No one will know you use it if you don't tell them!!

They need moisture. Blistex works best for this...carmex doesn't really do it for me. Make sure you use it during the day and before you go to sleep. I have the same problem. Just using a good chapstick does the trick! :)

It could be sunburn, windburn, habit of rubbing or biting your lips. Also you may need some B complex vitamin.
