do guys see it as like a MAJOR turn-off when girls have acne? because i have had it for the last three years, and i have had plenty of guy friends but no boyfriends to speak of, is it because of my acne? and it's not THAT bad, its not like overwhelming, but its definitely very noticeable, especially on my bad days...

You didn't say how old you are, which may be part of the no-boyfriend issue. If you are feeling self-conscious about your acne that could be part of the problem. Different guys pay attention to different issues. So do girls - some won't date bald or short guys, others will. Let's face it, teens and twenty somethings are often a little quick to rule out great people for superficial reasons. I've always struggled with acne and it hasn't had a big effect on my dating life. I'm getting married in 3 days so there is hope for you as well.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

Of course clear skin is better then having acne, but as long as you wash your face daily and aren't greasy, some acne wouldn't be a turn off

Well, it wouldn't hurt to put a little acne cream on. Most teens get acne; if it's very little, most guys are ok with it.

It should be alright cause my teacher which is only about 20+ years old has a major problem bout acne and i think she is still pretty!

The ones that aren't ok with it are the immature ones. I like a girl for who she is, acne isn't a turn off...to me it's not.

physically, its a turn-off but having friends doesnt count if one has acne or not..look on the brighter side, it's the good attitude will count best..i have lots of girl pals having face problems but they have their boyfriends who sticks with them..if you fall for someone or someone falls for you then that doesnt matter at all..the important thing is you love and can get along with each other..don't worry, someday, it'll be your turn to have a bf..GoodLuck:)
