It is very important that you see an ob/gyn.
This could have other origins, such as hormonal imbalance caused by ovarian cysts (which are usually benign), thyroid or diabetes onset. But uncontrolled growth of endometrial tissue (what you actually lose during period) must be checked out ASAP, because it could be linked to uterine, cervical or endometrial cancer. And you know that when you are diagnosed early, your chances are much better.
So dont panic, get the tests done as soon as possible. Waiting wont do you any good, since you will stay anxious anyway as long as you dont know what's happening !

Not necessarily cancer...it may be something totally different.
Regardless of your weight issue, I will try to answer this the best I can. I say this because I know more about a womans anatomy then most women.
My wife had ovarian cancer....her left onary was removed and still had syptoms similar to what you say. We went to all the doctors. Just believe me...I know about womens "stuff". It is much more complex than a man.
I could go on and on about it but the best thing for you to do is get a pabst smear and a pelvic examine. I hope you have a OB GYN. If not...find one. What you are going through is not normal.
I hope the out come is something simple to fix, no complications...really I do. I say this because I've seen it.
Yeah...I'm a man.

I am going thru the same thing . All my blood tests were alright. Did you get throid blood test, and biospy on uterus!! That is my next step. If you have clots big! It could be fibroids! Good luck! My doctor tells me it can be menapause. Maybe you need a glucose test. Also stress can make it irregular. Get the stress out of your life. I hope this helps you feel at ease. I know the worry!!!

Get a ultrasound done. It could by cysts around your ovaries or cervix. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, but you need to seek medical advice from your doctor. I have poly-cystic ovarian syndrome, and I can go months without having my period, but other cases I've heard of are a lot like yours!

It is most likely not cervical cancer but you should have a yearly check up at your gyno, even if you are not on bc pills. It could be hormonal. Dont freak out, rule it out! That should be a new motto.

DON'T listen to negative stuff!
I don't feel like it has to be cancer--(ugh! I HATE that word!)You need to go to a clinic for women !!!
I had a terrible problem and I got down on my knees and cried to God about it (even tho I Know He knew already), BUT I promise you, He healed my problem--but I had the faith that He would--but that's just me.
So, either, pray about it or go to a doctor.
We can't help seriously enough down here on Earth.
Maybe just go get your doctor's 'opinion'.

My question to you is this, do you gain weight easy? Excessive facial hair or hair growing in odd places? Darkening of the skin in crease as under your arms or you neck? Mood Swings? Are you at risk for diabetes. I have what they call Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. or PCOS or also know as PCOD. Look them up on the net....you might be surpirsed...

Go to a GYN and get a Pap smear and possibly a D&C.
Between the two tests, you'll know for sure.
