Am a man of 38 years who was maried for 5 years and divorced for 7. Cant seem to find right girl. I own my home and have a high paying job with lots of bennies. I am not ugly by any means. Have been told my eyes are beautiful. It seems all I end up with are girls that just want to get together once in a while. This is what I desired a while back but not anymore. I feel old and would like a special lady to spend to spend time with.

A. 38 is not middle aged
B. Have you tried Church? Many big churches have fantastic singles groups.
C. Get involved in a charitable organization to meet women outside your profession.

Alright........here we go. For some reason men tend to think we want to be found; ever thought of allowing the right woman to find you? Yes that's right, I said allow the right woman to find you. There are thousands of good looking men, good jobs, own homes, and even have nice cars but here's the hit--Sometimes the reason that people who are ACTIVELY looking/searching for the right person never seem to find her/him is because timing is not right. Or better yet; how about the fact that maybe your future wife just hasn't come along as of yet. You sound like a nice guy simply ready to settle down and have something nice with someone. Take your time; you may be lonely but is it a peaceful type of loneliness; or is it tolerable. Try some hobbies bowling, tennis, church activities (if you belong to church), or let some of your trusted male friends know that you are interested but take your time. Just like you guys can feel when we're desperate, ie too needy--we can feel when a guy is also desperate, and it is a very unattractive charateristic. Sit back and do a self inventory of yourself. Make a list of your assets and your liabilities, and then take that list and compare it to what you are looking for in a mate. At local parks, art exhibits, functions, seminars, weekend gatherings put on by the Cities depending on what areas you want to go to.
