10 days off then where? I'm planing on becoming an mp.Please describe the locations and school I'll attend following boot camp.

You'll go to MCT (SOI East) which is in Camp Lejeune. After your three weeks of MCT you'll be going to Ft. Leonardwood, MO (USAMPS). Even though it's an Army base, you'll be attached with the Marines there. After MOS school, it's wherever your duty station is at. This depends whether you're a Field or Garrison MP. Ask for Okinawa or you can do special duty like Dog Handler, etc. Hoorah!!!

You're the luckiest man in the world.
In some cases the Marines don't have their
own school, they send Marines to an Army school for training.
That's what will happen to you. And, ----it's Fort Lost in the Woods, Misery. , commonly called Fort Leonard Wood,Missouri.,
There is no other place on this planet that has as much red clay and mud. Those of us who were there miss it as much as we'd miss having the flu. It really wasn't a bad assignment, just that damn dust!

Unless they changed it, you'll go to infantry training at Camp LeJeune, and then to MP School wherever the Marine Corps does that.

well if it is still the same as everything I've ever seen,, you will go to SOI in NC or CALI, then from there to MP School at FT Leonard wood, MO. then to Lejuene, Penalten, or Okinawa, from there to Iraq, or Afghan.

Totally depends. Most likely you will go to MS school, MP school and then be sent over to train Iraq's police force.
