Spirituality enabled me to get and stay clean.
You bet I'm grateful. All day, every day.

Good question. I believe that I am, to a large extent, responsible for my own successes and failures. However, I also try to take time to appreciate the beauty of the world around me and reflect on the Divine energies that fill the universe.
So I would say that while gratitude is a part of my spirituality, celebration is a MUCH bigger component.

I am ashamed to admit I am not always so grateful. I am becoming more so as time goes by. I have been pretty spoiled and I have had a pretty good life for the most part.I think gratitude is such an important thing and am working on it every day,by helping others, trying to be a blessing to someone else each day. Good question!

That's a great question!. I think in my own case all my spirituality is connected to gratitude in the since that I thank
the creator for everything that comes good and bad and for the lessons I can learn.

Interesting question.
I find that I have a great deal of gratitude directed toward God. In large part I think it contributes as "fuel" so to speak of my relationship with Him. Because it burns in my heart.
That old attitude of gratitude.

Wow ! What a loaded question.
First, I think lots of doctrinal and belief factors will come into play answering your question by many different folks. But, for me:Gratatude is a huge part. Why ?
I believe Jesus died and rose again to give me eternal life IF I accept it.
I can't buy it.
I don't deserve it.
I'm not a good enough person to have it, yet
because I belived on Jesus and asked for it, He freely gave me something I had no hope of ever getting on my own.
For THAT I am very Grateful !

Being saved from sin, through the sacrifice of Christ should make me and others who believe grateful 24/7. However sometimes we act just the opposite- The Bibles says to be thankful in everything. We do not have to be grateful FOR everything- but through the good and the bad we can learn to be thankful because HE is God.

An enormous part. As a nature-worshiper I give thanks for the warmth of the sun, the songs of birds, and the food from the earth. It seems like much of spirituality is based on giving thanks and gratitude. I am thankful for my life, my family (two-legs, and otherwise), and the mountains around me.
And thanks for the question... it was something I had not thought of before.

I honestly try to be thankful to God and mankind.
The story in the Bible of the 10 lepers that were healed and only 1 thanked him for healing him. This taught this lesson to me at a young age. How sad Jesus was about this. What a lesson for us all.
Keep smiling and have a good day. Thanks.
