I can't convert anyone. Only God can do that. But I have been given a specific mission by my Lord to go and make disciples of all nations.
I refuse to be disobedient. It has eternal consequences.

I can only speak for Christians and our beliefs. The Word of God says that we are to go out into the highways and byways and preach the Gospel of Jesus. That means all that He taught will He was here on earth. Sin is fearful to sinners. We do accept the fact that others have different views, that is our mandate from on High to share the Gospel. May God Bless U.

How right you are Nicole !
It's interesting, though, that most would agree that their "religion" is founded on principals of peace and love.
Sadly, some think they must bully those who do not believe as they do or even kill others to prove their point.
They're the ones that REALLY need to "grow up" !

Believers in silly imaginary god beings are the only people I've ever seen that try to convert people to their way of thinking. The non-believers fall into one of 2 groups. They either point out the fallacies in the theisticles our mock them for believing in infantile god fantasies.

I wish they could. I`m surely getting tired of all the Christian bashing. I haven`t seen them trying to convert anyone. I`ve had Jehova`s Witnesses come by the house a couple of times, but they`re all nice, friendly people.

I accept it. In fact, I accept that there are approximately 6,000,000,000 different viewpoints alive today.
It's a very diverse world. I wonder why, if there is a god, that he/she/it would create us so that no two people would have the same point of view?

Have you ever heard of the Ba'hai faith? They have about 1 million followers, and are completely accepting of other religions, mainly because the beliefs are very similar, but its culture and traditions that make differences.
In their words, "There is more than one path up the mountain."

I respect others and know we don't all believe the same. But I need to explain my viewpoint so others understand. Then if they want to convert, they can.

After all the killings, destruction of civilizations, religious wars, inquisitions all in the name of God by various religions you ask this question. Almost every religion believes THEIRS is the right one, THEIRS is the only true one, THEIRS is the only one that will get you into Heaven, and if you don't agree with them they will destroy you. Nothing more satisfying then killing in the name of God.

Not if you're serious about your religion. That would be a contradiction. Can't you accept that people take God seriously (no matter what religion that may be)?
