Invest in an online home base travel business. Then you can pay less taxes by increasing your deductions like a portion of your mortgage, cable, telephone and even your family vacations. These are some of the benefits and perks, we enjoy. You are the only one that can make the change.

When a house is sold, it's revalued based upon the sales price. I'd wager that you bought your place much more recently than your neighbors bought theirs. That's the way it works. If you don't like it, contact your elected representatives.

BTW, what makes you think it isn't fair? Or that you are entitled to "fair" in the first place? Life itself isn't "fair." Deal with it!

If you make a convincing case to the assessor you should be able to get your tax lowered. That's what I did.
