Si a un niño se le propone llevarle al zoo, ponerse a dibujar con él, salir a patinar o jugar juntos con su juguete favorito, es dificíl que se empeñe en permanecer conectado al aparato.

If you offer to take a child to the zoo, draw with him, go skating or play with his favorite toy, it would be hard for him to want to remain [connected]glued to the contraption (or, then he wouldn't want to spend so much time on....)

(This sounds like a campaign to get kids to stop spending so much time on computers/video games.)
