Neither, it's a donut shop that also sells coffee. When I think of coffee, I don't think of Krispy Kreme. When I think of fast food I do NOT think of Krispy Kreme. When I have a craving for donuts....I THINK OF KRISPY KREME!

To get technical its a -coffee and baked goods chain- which falls under the broader more boring title of franchise. Anybody that does investing knows where to get that info.
I get coffee there, therefore to me its a coffee shop. Could go either way.
