Let's say that there is a planet with large population of beings that look nothing like. But they have alot of the things we have, technology, love and families, maybe even forms of entertainment. But let's say this entire species is peaceful. They no longer fight wars amongst themselves over their personal beliefs. They have learned to solve their differences without violence and have grown as a civilation. They became one planet.

So how would humans explain these people about god? How we looks like us and how jesus is his son who was raised from the dead. Now remember, they have world peace and no longer have the need for beliefs. How would you convince them that they were wrong?

Beyond religion means that they have moved past a belief in a god and a set of dogmas. Since our religions are forever stuck in the past, they can't evolve. So hopefully one day we can move beyond religion as a way to see the universe with better eyes.

What if they say the universe only thru the eyes of science and had no desire to have "faith" in something they couldn't see. And by having these beliefs, they became a peaceful society. Something we are surely not.

What if they moved past the belief that the universe MUST be created just for me?

First of all, your scenario can never happen because we are the only highly intellectual being that God created. he had created us in his image. Second of all, even if they are highly intelligent being, they still sin. Being highly intelligent does not mean you don't sin. War and conflicts aren't the only sin, there are many. Pride, lusts, lies, etc are part of it. they probably take pride for their intelligence and that is sin. According to the word of God, (romans 3:23) For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. Nobody is perfect. Only God is perfect!! And that is how I will approach this "highly intelligent beings", their pride.

Edit for the asker: whether they like it or not and whether they have moved beyond believing that they are created, they can't escape the fact that they are. Even in our society, people are denying the fact that they are mere creation by the Almighty. People in our society believes in evolution in the cosmos etc. but they can deny or brainwash themselves all they want, they are still going to be judge when they die. It is up to them to choose if they live in a hot climate, or a comfortable one when they die.

It's very simple. They'd have to have NO answers for important things, like WHERE all the MASS in the Universe came from.

Anyone without a definitive answer has to explore religion.

Religion answers those questions that have no concrete answers.

Tell us, what if that Alien race believed in a type of Diety, something that translated into God.

Then what would you think!

If you allow for this sort of wishful thinking, then ANYTHING is possible. This seems to be the lynchpin of evolution - many, many things are "just so" because they need to be "just so" or the whole house of cards falls apart.

Let's say this entire species is peaceful. OK - let's also say that all of these fossils with homologous features are related by descent. Why not? Hooey! Doesn't anyone think anymore?

Well...
If they were truly a loving and benevolent race, they wouldn't disagree with the teachings of the religions that stress peace, love, and kindness, like Christianity does. I wouldn't try to force my beliefs about God on them; as you say, they're benevolent and kind, so they ARE doing God's will. There's no need to convert them to MY faith. I would tell them about my religion if they were interested, but forcing my beliefs on them could ruin all their good work.
Oh, about the whole "God looks like us" thing, I think you misunderstood the whole "created in his image" thing. God doesn't have one physical form or shape, so we can't be in his physical image. The way I interpret it, we are created in God's image because we have the ability to reason, and we have free will, so we can freely love one another like God loves us.

What do you mean "beyond religion"? Religions aren't some pinnacle - they've already been "gone beyond" by Atheism.
And, psssst: The being wouldn't *be* wrong in this case!

“No philosophy, no religion, has ever brought so glad a message to the world as this good news of Atheism” – Unkn.

Your people don't fight over personal beliefs. Then why don't they fight about racism, sexism, geography, money, power, fame, adultery, class, etc. Why is it that your people don't have the non-god related flaws that plague all of humanity? What do you do about greed and lust? Sure, conniving leaders will not be able to use religion as a tool or excuse in their desire to control naive individuals, so they will turn to their other tools, science (as in atom bombs), class (as in rich vs poor), fear (as in nationalism and racism). Solve those problems, the problems of selfishness, then talk about some perfect people. In addition, let's include ignorance, which produces erroneous logic that lead to questions like this one.

One of the wrong things about earthlings is to surrender himself immediately to possiblity. I have nothing to explain to them no matter how peaceful are they. I have no intentions of convincing them whether they are right or wrong. I will let them be and perhaps try to know what is their secret for peace. If I find it applicable for man to follow then I should try.
To tell them there is God is not necessary since you said they are at peace with each other. I think we should be the One to ask them how are they able to know and live along with God.
Should we find them to be true, I know they will say "we have been there on earth and we learned so much that we all decided to look for another planet."

Let's say this planet actually existed. Then I would say they would be astute enough to recognize the universe is a bit more than organized chaos and is specifically coded for life. Of course, that would be a stretch, I know....

The interview would go something like this. We cannot explain ourselves very well because our belief is conceived by the teachings that were handed down over 1900 years ago through writings and word of mouth. We are told of a long history of men who created a belief in a higher power that created all that is. We could not explain how the sun came up in the east and set in the west. We thought that the lights in the skies ruled over us. Some men had visions of beings with wings like birds. These angels as we called them spoke to us about the one who made all things and would some day show himself before us. So man believed and worshiped the Creator of all things. For many years man waited and Creator did not show his face. Then finally a man claimed to be the son of Creator. Those who waited still did not believe because he had taken so long to come. How could this be the son of Creator they now called God and why did not God come himself. Then the son spoke and said that in reality his Father the creator of all things and he were one as water was the same as steam only they could not understand this message. He spoke in riddles of the wind blowing and faith of a mustard seed could move a mountain. This could not be God if he would get down and write in the sand or wash someones feet. No one wanted to listen to his words of Love when life was so tough. The promise of men that God would come and stop the wars and killing. It was peace they wanted but this man said he did not come to bring peace. He came so we could have life and more abundantly if we followed his words and advice for living, loving one another as we would ourselves. This would take trust and faith in a creator of all things. One who waited with open arms of forgiveness and instructed men to put down the sword. How could anyone trust in a God that would have us turn our swords into plow shears and feed the poor. So they killed him the man and decided to wait for God to come again. So we are still waiting even thought that man was seen by many after he died and he claimed he would come again. So you see we still have wars and killing because God people thought God had not come. They were too Intelligent to believe that.
At least some us Humans don't think this way. Men who decided to believe the son of God man took it upon themselves to hope and wait and trust the words of this son If you have learned a way to solve your differences and kept peace on your planet, we could sure use some help until our God Shows up again. Perhaps you are the help we have been asking our creator of all things for, through what we call prayer. Now many believe that God and his son will show up soon. So if you cannot help us then we will continue to wait. Now can you explain to me who created you. Who created your planet and the stars or the Universe you live in. You certainly did not, because you would not be here unless you are God and you finally showed up. Just give me one miracle like that man who claimed to be the son of the creator. He show many miracles so the stories go.
If you cannot give me some answers then I suggest you have not considered creation by a God. It just may be possible that the creator of all things has helped you to become peaceful by sending someone to you who was the son of the creator as well but he was able to succeed because you did not have a negative force changing your minds about living together as one.
It will take someone who can convince us that Love is stronger than survival for these wars to end. I hope one day we do see the creator and his son. I will personally ask him to pay you a visit so you can know him too.

People don't only follow religion because of wars, they follow it because they believe in a higher power, or because the have faith. Just because they have peace doesn't mean that they don't have need for beliefs.
