how can i lose 5 pounds quick?????

First drink 64oz of water a day (through out the the morning and not flavored water/tea/or coffee.) If you drink your needed amount of water (and a little more never hurts) you will loose up to 5 pounds in a week. People retain so much water and salt becuase they just don't drink enough water. You can't flush the food from your body, especially iron rich items, if you don't drink water!

Now for the food:
Stay away from high sodium foods and complex carbs (breads and pastas). To play it safe, don't drink anything but tea and water. You have to eat, becuase if you don't your body will go into starvation mode. Don't eat hard to digest foods after 6pm and stop eating 2 hours before bed time. Eat your biggest meal for lunch and small meals through out the day. No candy, no sweets, nothing with corn syrup as an ingredient. When you eat these suger foods you will feel hungry, thus eat more. Make sure you are getting your vitamines and protien as well. I eat a protein shake every morning (Spirutein is good and has tons of flavors & trader joes has a cheap one.) Fruits and Vegies are your best bet. If you are working out, you can pretty much eat them all day.

Working out is another key factor:
Make yourself sweat!!! Do cardio at least once a day for 20 minutes (to increase your heart rate), then move to light weights. If you are serious about losing weight, you need to work out for at LEAST an hour a day, if not more. Hell you will feel great and sleep better too.

And as someone bluntly said before you need to make sure you are regular. The best way to get regular is to drink that water.

It is easy to lose 5 pounds quick....quick being the operative word here....lower your calorie and carbohydrate intake and don't drink many liquids....this is not a healthy way to do it though....as soon as you return to eating and drinking normally you will regain it and it will also harm your metabolism, cause your body will go into starvation mode...

The best way is to eat all t hings in moderation, concentrating mostly on fruits, vegetables and whole grains, vitamin supplement, and drink lots of water. You should do moderate exercise 20-30 minutes daily.

I truly wish you the best success you've ever had....you will get more energy and feel better about yourself...and you will notice you will smile a lot more at the world because the inside of you feels as good as the outside looks....

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Eat 2000 calories day and do cardio exercise for 30 minutes a day - you will lose 5 lbs in about 2 weeks. Lose any more weight than 2 or 3 lbs in a week and it is unhealthy.

Unless you are willing to take thermogenics, you will essentially have to do lots of cardio, and eat a bit less. Eating less can only ask for trouble if you go too far.

Keep in mind that the five pounds you lose may not happen at the part of your body where you want to lose weight.

Eat healthy and exersie alot go for jogs or make up a exercise routine. Do not strave yourself because what ever wheight you lose when you sart to eat again you will gain back twice as much

This is not permanent but a quick fix only get one of those Hollywood drinks at walmart! They make you lose alot of water weight and look thin but as soon as you stop poof its back on!

If you need permanent loss I'm gonna say the cliche answer exercise and diet!

there is no way to just loose 5 pounds, just eat healthy perfect portions, chicken and turkey is good, but make sure its like low sodium. preferably the brand healthy choice. drink TONS of water, and lots of protien and veggies. NO FRUIT!! that has sugar stay away from sugar. have about 1200 calories a day

Stop drinking pop, I lost 8 pounds in a month. I hope you have that much time because I don't know what "quick" is. Lol.

Dont eat! lol JUST KIDDING but i do not know what your diet is like but i lost 3 pounds in a weelk by drinking NOTHING but water and eating very small amounts!!!
