Ignore him. It works every time. My cats cop and attitude and ignore me, so I will lay down in the floor and open a book or magazine. Before I know it my book looks like a cat. I have never had this fail.

My cat just went through a similar episode. After about $1500 in diagnostics we learned two things.
1.) Cats can suffer from arthritis but it is kinda rare and isn't something vets typically would attribute sudden onset changes to.
2.) Epilepsy is a generic term that means "we have no idea what's going on so lets call it epilepsy"
a.) During a seizure a cat may fall and induce trauma to a part of his/her body.
b.) Seizure's are either petite mal (harder to detect, sometimes a one off event, sometimes present so briefly that you'll never observe it) or seizures are Grand mal. If your baby suffers from grand mal seizures you would know.

I have an older cat, Tiffany, as she's gotten older, she just doesn't want to be bothered. But both she, and her younger sister, Miss. Kitty, who loves to be picked up, will shy away from me depending which Cologne I'm wearing. Hope I've helped.

You rather underestimate those tom cats. I comprehend your want to look after them, rather the toddler. yet, bear in ideas those are cats in all probability born and raised in a feral colony. i'm particular the momma cat has braved a wintry climate or 2 earlier. in simple terms because of fact they are actually not getting your nutrition would not recommend they are actually not ingesting. i'm keen to wager 3 individuals on your complicated throw scraps out. additionally - cats hunt. wintry climate would not recommend searching ends. There are nonetheless thousands and thousands of mice and rats, rather around residences. Birds, too. they're in all probability ingesting something interior the dumpsters, and that they in all probability walk around for a pair of miles to bypass to properties too. Feral cats are particularly clever whilst it contains nutrition. i've got watched over a colony of 17 feral cats earlier, basically feeding them scraps as quickly as we had some and that they went by using 2 winters with out dropping plenty weight in any respect. although, in case you nonetheless experience compelled to feed them, i might recommend you detect a secluded spot interior the complicated. An allyway, in the back of a dumpster, in the back of a bush... someplace somewhat out of sight and drop the nutrition off there. final 365 days I positioned all of my thanksgiving leftovers out via the residence dumpster to feed all the cats. Or, you may call animal administration and characteristic them taken on your close by shelter.

Cats have complex psyches. They can become irritated or grumpy over weird things. At the vet clinic where I work, some of our cats act like this--just as long as he's not acting like he hurts he is probably just being sour.

You know, mine does this every once in awhile... don't pick him up, but do give him positive attention and let him have his space. Mine will usually get back to normal in a couple of days and be snuggly again.
