Isn't God supposed to love and forgive? Why could he create someone, already knowing their choices, just to make them go to Hell after their death? And more important: is accepting Jesus a reasonable condition to reach Heaven after death? Even if you were a good person, but not Christian, they say you'll go to Hell. And if you were a bad person, who repented before dying, you'll go to Heaven, according to the Christian faith. I'd like you to answer WITHOUT quoting the scriptures (it's too easy and it doesn't explain anything). I do believe that if there's a Heaven, all good and caring people will be welcome, no matter their religion. Why so many people are condamning other people to Hell because of what Dante said?

What proof do people have to say that the way of Jesus is the only one to get to Heaven? If it's only about faith, I'd say that it's ok to say so, but adding that it's their opinion. If they say that as a fact, I'd really like to see some proof and some evidence. By the way, does anyone know what Jesus really said about Hell? Or do people just know about what other people wrote? He died for our sins, they say. Could it be that he died because of human stupidity (so our sins) and not to redeem all of us and what people say it's just a misinterpretation? I'm sure that Jesus didn't want to be worshipped like a king, and I'm quite sure he was smart enough to understand that Heaven needs all good people, not just his worshippers.

a good person will not go to hell because there is no such thing. it was a concept created to keep christians scared and ignorant, and it is still working today. it is too easy to tell someone to be good because if you dont you will burn in a lake of fire. the much harder thing is to be good without fear of retaliation after death. its so simple to understand why they created hell. christianity has kept people as slaves to their own fears to control them. it has worked for over 1000 years and is still today.

There aren't any truly good, caring, loving people in the world. No one has lived a sinless, perfect life except Jesus. To be truly good you must have been continually perfect. God does love and forgive but if you feel you have nothing that needs forgiving then why do you need God anyway? Apparently these non-existent people you know have no sin so they are good enough on their own to get to heaven, right? Whether you think accepting Jesus as savior is reasonable or not does not make it any less true. You need a perfect sacrific for your own personal sins. Jesus is the only one that fits that bill. Jesus is the epitome of God's love and forgiveness. When you mess up and get a speeding ticket does the officer just say, oh well, you were going 20 over the limit but I'll just let you go. No, there is a price to be paid, we call it a fine. Now some friend can pay that fine for you or you will have to pay it yourself. There is a price for sin also. You can either let God pay it for you or you can try to pay it on your own. If you choose to pay on your own it will cost you eternity, unless you are perfect, of course. Don't say God isn't loving and ready to forgive. He came to earth and died so you could have that price paid but he let's you choose whether to accept it or not. I'm extremely thankful I have a friend who paid that fine for me.

I do not condemn anybody. Why do you ask a question about God, then ask that the answer not come from the word of God?
If the word of God does not explain anything to you, then you are not a person with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which is what allows you to understand what you read when you read from the Bible.

You talk of good, loving people. Jesus once asked a man that called Him 'Good master' why did the man call Him good, as there was none good, but God in heaven. The very best that a man has to offer in himself is 'as filthy rags' unto God. Only the Holy Spirit in a man is good.

If you believe what you claim to believe, then the Scriptures speak the truth about you, in that "In the last days, men will not endure sound doctrine", meaning that people such as yourself simply WILL NOT believe the truth that the word of God holds. Case closed.

Hell is a control mechanism. Follow or else, that is the christian way. See like you stated and I asked many christian minsters Hitler if he repented would go to heaven, but yet a good moraled person without the christian god would go to hell, and the answer was Yes. A person doesn't have to lead a gracious life to get into heaven. They only have to be christian for the last few minutes of their life. Which is very disturbing to me. A Child molester could rape a good like girl and kill her. While he is in prison he finds god, and goes to heaven. So the girl is in heaven with the man that put her there. How is she supposed to feel? I can expect her to be the 'good' christian and forgive him for raping and killing her.
It is the rules into getting into heaven that turned me away from Christianity. To me the Christians have developed an easy free ride devoid of any effort on their behalf. They say that no acts can earn your way into heaven. Only by believing, can one get into heaven. This is a perfect example of the poor ethic of character that the Christians show. No act can earn your way into heaven but they are compelled to convert others to show their faith. That is an example also of the two faced actions of the christian community. Not all Christians but a very large percentage of them.

Hey think about this, if the people are not Christian and believe in a different faith wouldn't they then be sent away to their OWN god? Wouldn't then THAT god say that they had followed the faith and be sent to that particular paradise of the religion? There are no exact answers to any exact religions. I am not Christian. Therefore i will go to hell. No offence, but that's a little childish. I just hope the whole world will accept each other.

First of all EVERY person born on this earth after the disobedience of Adam and Eve is a sinner . A sin is any thing contrary of the word of God , ( a bad thought , a lie , swearing , disobedience , lust , murder ,stealing ,etc... you name it we've all done some of them ) Just for one sin alone will cast us into hell at judgment day. After hearing Gods word and admitting that you are a sinner and you will turn from your ways and accept him as your savior he will forgive you of your sins. That is why God wants us to spread his word to all the ends of the earth so everyone can get a chance of going to heaven . A lot of it is pride or ignorance why people turn away from Gods word . Salvation is a free gift !!

well, PEOPLE should not be condemning anyone to hell. It's one the main things that Jesus taught us.
Second, try to think of it like this.

If I come over to your house and come inside, completely ignore you and when asked, tell you that I don't believe in you, do you think you would let me in? Why should God, the Creator, take any exception to you? Let's say you are a good person just like anyone can be a good person but you didn't do what you were asked. You had plenty of time and opportunity, but never chose to believe. In fact, you were told at one point that the way into Heaven is an act of faith, not good works or deeds.

Jesus was sent to give us a way to get into Heaven and approach our Creator quite easily. If you reject it, how can you expect to get into Heaven. Now you're trying to come into my house, ignore me, deny me, and deny my son.

So, let me ask you: why SHOULD you be allowed into Heaven?

To them, Hell is a reality...or extra adequately, they think it as although it had been. Of path they have got no proof aid their claims...approximately the life in their puppy deity, Hell, or how God thinks or feels approximately any given predicament. Which reduces all of it to instead insulting threats: Insulting due to the fact that a) they assume that come what may those threats must frighten us, and b) due to the fact that in spite of their claims that "it is not me pronouncing this it is God", they it seems that think that you just need to undergo within the worst process feasible for the "crime" of no longer believing them. "It's no longer me pronouncing this it is God" has received to be essentially the most blatant, 2-confronted, outright lie they talk.

The answer is "there are no good and caring and loving people."
But you say, "I know good and caring and loving people."
I say, sure, they seem that way to you; but God knows the hearts of all men and has testified that all of them are corrupt in their innermost being and unfit for the kingdom of God.
It is rather foolish for you to ask someone to justify a Biblical reality and revelation without referring to the source of the information.
Where do you think we get our concept of Heaven?
or of Hell?
or of the nature of God, or any unseen spiritual reality?
All of these things are unknowable through science or any natural source.
They are only understood through revelation, and the source of that revelation is the Bible.
It is completely illogical to accept the facts of that revelation that suit us, and disregard the concepts we are uncomfortable with.
There is no sin or evil permitted in heaven.
All men are sinners.
What's the solution? The Bible says the only remedy for sinners is execution.
The mercy of God is, the execution has already been performed in the Sin Substitute, the Lord Jesus Christ.
On the cross He took the corporate guilt of mankind upon Himself, so that sinners might by faith exchange their guilt for His perfect righteousness.
If you will accept by faith what he has already accomplished, you will be saved. If not, you will sink like a stone under the weight of your own guilt into the abode of the dead, awaiting the final judgment of God.
The judgment of God has nothing to do with Dante. Read the Bible for yourself. Why accept my opinion when the issue is your immortal soul?

The same way that a good, loving and caring person can go to jail for breaking a law. When the person appears before the judge it doesn't matter if they have lived a life full of good deeds and compassion. If they broke the law the judge has to impose whatever penalty the law specifies.

The Bible teaches that ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard of justice. It also teaches that the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus. Instead of bemoaning the fact that there is only one penalty for sin, why don't you accept the gift of payment for your sins that God has provided and then go out and find a lot of goood, loving and caring people who don't yet know about it and tell them the good news?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
