Medicines like Zyrtec, Allegra, and Claritin sometimes take a day or two to really kick in. When I am having a really bad allergy attack, I will take a single dose of Benadryl even if I took Claritin earlier in the day. The Benadryl seems to calm things down enough to be tolerable until the Claritin can kick in.

Benedryl sometimes works for me when my allergies are really bad... thing is, it makes me sleepy. So, unless you're sure what effect Benedryl has on you, don't take it unless you are home for the day.

Also, you might call the pharmacist and see how long you have to wait after taking a Zyrtec to take the Benedryl.

Last, I agree with the guy above me... talk to your doc about a more lasting and reliable solution. I only use Benedryl as a last resort when my allergies are really acting up.

Are you taking any vitamin supplements? Try Clearguard by nutrilite. These are pretty cheap and they control nasal congestion due to allergies. Check out this site. www.kszymanska.qhealthzone.com. Look up clearguard, and see the written flyer. It's working for me! You can see results as early as 3 days! Maybe, you wont have to take zyrtec anymore!

I used to apply my nasal spray on a daily basis like 5 cases an afternoon and could not breathe at evening, the two. i replaced into continually taking hypersensitivity pills for seasonal hypersensitive reactions the place i'd sneeze continuously. not something replaced into working in any respect. Then at some point i desperate to shrink out sugar from my universal use and all started taking a sugar supplement that still had Stevia in it mixed. i don't know if it replaced into the Stevia, or the sugar shrink, or what, yet in approximately 2 months, I had stopped utilising the nasal spray thoroughly and my hypersensitive reactions have been thoroughly long gone. I even questioned what i replaced into going to do with all those pills. I went back to the sugar and did not use to any extent further sugar exchange by way of a epidermis hypersensitivity led to by utilising the sugar exchange this is derived from corn. I went for a stable volume of time , like a year, in step with possibility, formerly i began out to sneeze back those days. So i haven't dropped the sugar thoroughly yet am giving the Stevia a attempt back. desire this helps me and each guy or woman else who would be desperate sufficient to objective it. enable me know what works, in case you are able to.

25mg Benedryl and boil water and place the pans around the house for a few hours. It will take twice around of boiling but it works. I have sever allergies. I carry a epi pen for two of them.
If you have throw rugs get them outside now and if some one can vacuum the heck out of your house and dust everything including the walls that will help.

It depends what type of allergies you have and what their reactions are. With allergies related to eczema, you need get the eczema damp than get some moisturizing cream on it. If they make you wheeze like with astma, get an inhaler, and if it's anything else...A different medicine.
